Unable to change Debit Order Details and Failure of a Supervisor to call back
I pay for two unit trusts, one in my name and the other in my daughter's name. These investments have been running for 10 years or so. When I spoke to an agent yesterday, it was not a problem to change the debit order details on my daughter's account, as i explained that the investment was for her wedding expenses, when that day materialises.
Today, I phoned at 14:20 and spoke to Jeanett Mo***eng. After asking me a string of questions, until I had enough, finally agreed to send my request for processing.
When I asked about my daughter, they indicated that they needed to contact my daughter. When I inquired why, as I was just changing the debit order details, I was informed that that was the process. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, there was momentary pause, and I was informed that they were all in a MEETING. I left a request with my mobile number for a supervisor to call back. More than an hour later, no-one has phoned
To rub salt in the wound, no-one has called my daughter, who is away on holiday!
Is Nedbank really serious about making my money work hard for me? I wonder?
Request: a. Confirmation that my debit order details will be changed before the next due date. Any unpaid fees should Nedbank process the debit order against my old account MUST be reversed. I have made a provision in my new account for these debit orders. b. Confirmation that my DAUGHTER'S debit order details will be changed before the next due date. Any unpaid fees should Nedbank process the debit order against my old account MUST be reversed. I have made a provision in my new account for these debit orders.
