Uitenhage Nedbank losing my interest and investment, worst service

I have been investing with Nedbank for more than 15years. My investment was due to mature on the 1st of August 2022.

On the 1st of August 2022 I was at Nedbank in Uitenhage to reinvest my investment and withdraw the interest.

The service was slow and I had to wait 35minutes to be helped. The gentleman that assisted me was not very helpful and not competent in his work. He could not find my investment and I had to go back home to look for the original documentation. When I returned to Nedbank later this day, I had to wait for this gentleman again to assist me. When it was my turn, he did not seem interested in advising me in the best way to reinvest my capital. Final agreement reached was that the interest would be paid out within 3days (4th of August 2022) and the lumpsum would be reinvested for another 6 months.

After 3 days I started becoming concerned, not receiving the funds in my account and no communication to state where my investment or capital was.

On the 10th of August 2022 I returned to Nedbank in Uitenhage to enquire about my capital and investment. The person at the door was very unhelpful and rude. Another consultant was very helpful. She found my investment and capital. This is when I was informed that my investment was reinvested for another 60 months and not 6 months as per the agreement on the 1st of August 2022. This consultant redirected me back to the gentleman who assisted me on the 1st of August 2022, so that he could fix this error. He informed me that Head office did not receive his email correspondence and there for they did not pay out my capital interest, as requested. And he could not say why my investment was wrongfully reinvested.

At that stage I asked to speak to the manager, the manager was not available and I asked the gentleman to please withdraw my investment completely from Nedbank. He informed me that he would do this immediately. This was on the 10th of August 2022.

On the 15th of August 2022 I went back to Nedbank in Uitenhage, due to not receiving any of my funds. This time I had the opportunity to speak to the Manager, he was helpful and insured me the investment will be paid out to me completely.

Today the 16th of August 2022, I only received the interest Capital and not my investment.

I have lost all faith in Nedbank. Also would like to warn all my fellow South Africans to by careful of investing or banking with Nedbank. This is a shocking experience and very disturbing to have a large sum of money disappear for days.

I would like this matter to be resolved asap. Any advice will be greatly appreciated?
