Travel Insurance

<p>I bought travel insurance 1 year in advance for a trip to Egypt. My husband passed away 2 weeks ago and I needed to cancel the trip. Tring to claim is a nightmare. What was promised to me was R60,000 for the 2 of us to cover all expenses, air, hotels etc. Now there is no such thing. I need to claim back from all the relevant parties. Hpwever I cannot get a refund from Egypt that is just how they work, so now Zurich who is the under writer refuses to comensate me. Never buy travel insurance it is a huge money making ****. They also dont return call, the call volume is always high. I dont undertsnad how dying is not a relevant claim application. Never use Nedbank or Zurich. Please be carefull.
