Transform your mindset."in an institutionalised organisation, members become less to think and act independently".

I sacrificed my Sunday morning and went to Nedbank Baywest Mall branch. I needed assistance on bank details' verification, increase internet payment limit and apply for a cheque card. I was given ticket number E014. I waited for 26 minutes then it was my turn. I was assisted by Ms Marcia Thompson. She asked for my ID document and then proceeded on doing the bank details verification andthen after we proceeded with the payment limit increase, and she called a Ms Ayanda Oliphant for authorisation. They then advised me that I could not be assisted because based on an Experian Credit search they just did, it listed that there are other members linked to the business (both resigned and I became an only member on 260616). I protested that because they used a search of a third party being Experian but they can only use information obtained from CIPC as it only it that has a mandate derived from the Companies Act, 2008. They disagreed and told me to contact my banker as they are advised to use the Experian Credit search for ascertain members linked to a business. I asked how come they had done a bank verification, they answered that was a minor thing. I found the treatment very condescending and disrespectful because Ms Thompson started to assist another customer, whilst I was still in front of her.
