Time wasting processes

My account was put on hold because I had not used it in a while with overdrawn funds,deposited the funds to have my account reinstated bit was told to go to the branch for the consultants to call some department which I could easily do on my phone or internet banking.A process unnecessary because now I have been waiting 30 minutes in a lone for something I could easy do at the home.And I have an active business account with the same bank,where is the logic in this time wasting practice.
