Threatening SMS recieved from Nedbank

I have just received the following SMS from Nedbank:

"NDCRS Sheriff Liaison Dept IRO your Nedbank Acc. Court Notices may be sent to court today to obtain SUMMONS/JUDGEMENT. Call *** Ref TPP84842"

This after I have only been contacted once in regards to outstanding fees for an account that I have never held with Nedbank. In the past I have banked with ABSA Bank and then with First National Bank after poor service and rediculous costs from ABSA.

This is absolutely unacceptable and I know for a fact that a creditor MAY NOT threaten, intimidate or coerce you into making a payment towards an outstanding account.

Irrespective thereof, as I mentioned previously, the account that I have been contacted about is ********** and the process to report it as ***** to Nedbank is covered with red tape.

Nedbank seriously need to step up their game in the banking industry when it comes to matters such as this.

I'm very disappointed as I've seen multiple reviews and complaints about the exact same thing and it seems as though there is no improvement in this regard from Nedbank.
