The disgruntled client.
This is my experience with Nedbank(Chatsworth Centre Branch).
Experience # 1 In July 2019 I went in to collect a replacement card (my card was swallowed by another ATM claiming it was a ****** card) I was charged R135 for this replacement card even though I was due for a renewed card in November 2019. I work during the week and I went to the bank on a Saturday. After an hours wait, I was finally served and I also wanted to update my surname to my marital one (note : I had the relevant documents, I had to wait half an hour to get this from the "service champion" on another visit). This was supposed to be done...only to find out that the lady did not take a photocopy of my ID (aah the joys of Nedbank (Chatsworth Centre Branch)
Experience#2 I tried 2 times to collect my renewed card, waited at least 1.5 hour each, only to be told that the systems are offline. I asked if my card can be manually issued has I wouldn't be able to swipe for purchases..but Nedbank(Chatsworth Centre Branch) suggested that I come another day. 3rd time lucky, I finally got my card (I had to take a days leave from work) and it was sorted. But I was highly frustrated, it is ridiculous that in this day and age that service is so pathetic...I knew that "Its time to switch"...I need to be helped (nudge nudge wink wink)
Experience#3 Closing down my account...It was time to move forward...I went in to Nedbank(Chatsworth Centre Branch) on a Saturday to close my account...but systems was slow and I was reminded of the closing time. This was the final straw... I wanted this account annihilated..I decided to go to the Windermere branch, which was efficient, quick not forgetting the friendly staff who even tried to convince me otherwise but my mind was set.
The Windermere branch doesn't have the fancy thrills and frills as the Chatsworth Centre Branch but the service was perfect.
Oh, did I mention it was the Nedbank Chatsworth Centre Branch that gave me all these hassles?
