Terrible Nedbank ***** Case Service
I've had an ongoing ***** investigation for over a year. Finally, it has been decided that Nedbank has done what it could and is therefore not liable for the *****ulent transaction (this was end August of this year). I am forced to accept this, because who am I to claim that they didn't do their due diligence? But, amongst other things, they sent a screenshot showing details of the *****ulent transaction - the person bought tickets to a theme park in Singapore, and they added their name and email but these details are blurred out so I can not see what is the persons name or the email address is. I've asked Nedbank multiple times what the details are, and they have dodged answering my question and have even closed the case without answering my question!!! Now, suddenly no-one can answer my question because the case has been resolved according to them. Of course, Nedbank insists that I approved the transaction, but if this was true, why can't they give me the email address and name that was used with the transaction? And how can they close the case without addressing all of my questions?? To add to the frustration, when the case started, I asked how this will affect my credit score and what about accumulating interest on the amount spent on my CC for the *****ulent transaction? I was assured that I will not be liable for interest till the case has been dealt with and that my credit score will be rectified at conclusion. Unfortunately now, Brooks & Luyt, the debt collectors (who are just as terrible at doing their jobs) to who Nedbank handed my case over to, can't actually address the interest or the credit score issue. What the hell?? So, I haven't even mentioned yet that at the start of my case, Nedbank took months to get back to me regarding details of my case and months to get someone to explain to me what had happened. (And as previously mentioned, they still have not answered all of my questions) So THEY have stalled this case from day 1, despite promising weekly email updates, and now they are just continually adding problems to the situation by their incredibly **** customer service. How can one resolve issues with an institution like this? Do they deliberately complicate matters to pressure customers into giving up and surrendering their money? I am deeply concerned by the evident disregard and lack of care that Nedbank shows towards its customers. They are obviously misusing their position of authority
