TCF? FSB/Ombudsman escalation
On 10/02/2016 we visited the Nedbank mall of the south branch, met with a banker and requested a future dated EFT transaction to be actioned once an annuity had matured. All docs completed and was confirmed the funds would be available on 17/02/2016 received a call on 16/02/2016 Nedbank verified account number for the funds to be paid and confirmed funds will be available on 17/02/2016. Today 18/02/2016 funds not in the account called nedbank confirmed they lost the documents then received another call confirmed they found the documents and will now process the transaction. But now the funds will only be available on Monday 22/02/2016. I have now incurred costs as these funds were not available on the agreed date moreover the bank are earning interest on this everyday it is in their account while now i have bank charges amounting to R1200 for an unpaid debit order. This is direct breach of the TCF framework. Should the funds not be available in my account by midday tomorrow 19/02/2016 the matter will be reported to the FSB and Banking Ombudsman.I suggest you treat this with the urgency it requires.

Brandon
