student loan delays, no follow through

I have been with Nedbank since 1983 and it is sad what is happening now. I have had 2 study loans for my older kids. My youngest son Wilson completed matric and app**** to go to a college. The college has a cutoff date for payment, but they extended it when I explained the I was going to apply for a study loan,

I app**** for a study loan in early January, and I explained at Nedbank Northmead square branch in Benoni that there was a cutoff date in early February. The loan was approved quickly, and we signed all the surety papers. authorised payment and opened up a loan account, my son received a debit card (I don't know for which account, as he already had an account at Nedbank), this was two weeks ago. I have phoned Thabo Malgas at the branch, and student loans many times, but nothing happens. Student Loans dept. says that they are waiting for the surety documentation and a student loan account to be opened, Thabo says that everything is complete.

There is no follow through to find out what happened, and in the meantime my son has probably last his place in the college, because the cutoff payment date has passed, so frustrating. E de Jesus ***
