Stranded Pregnant Lady to give birth at Nedbank ATM.

I have recited the most appauling service ever in all my years of banking with Nedbank.

I have been sent R500 send imali which came in a form of a cardless withdrawal sms with a 10 digit number as well as a pin which is very foreign to me.

I have been trying to withdraw these funds for the past two hours to no success.

I have used my own airtime to call the contact Centre for assistance where my calls are being dropped.

I went onto the live chat where I spoke to siyanda who told me he can not see the voucher and needed to escalate this matter.

The first person to answer my call was a lady by the name of Pinky who transferred the call to a lady by the name of Thabile who transferred the call to a lady by the name of Andile who then decided to drop my call the minute we exchanged greetings.

Now this is where it ****es me the hell off. I call again, I speak to a guy by the name of sibusiso who takes down all my information and tell me he can not help me, I requested to speak to his manager, he placed me on hold and came back advising he is putting me through to his manager migendran moodley who answered the call then dropped it. I will say he dropped the call because if was a system issue he would have called me back as he would have all of my information.

I would not be making so much noise and wanting assistance, I am heavily pregnant I am due any day now. I am at the hospital where i was for my last check up I have to go home and get my bags and come back to the hospital but I can't as I am not able to withdraw these funds to call a car to take me home and back to the hospital.

I was told to go to another ATM or till point, but for me to do that I need to have cash which I do not have. I was told by sibusiso that some ATMs do not work when it comes to the voucher so I called a car to take me to another ATM I get there and the funds are not being dispersed, now I have a man that is looking at me in the eyes wanting his money that I can not withdraw.

This is unacceptable and plain down disgusting service. I guess Nedbank would love the publicity of a pregnant woman giving birth at their ATM due to not being able to withdraw send imali and their managers dropping calls on customers that are in need of their help.
