Stay away from Nedbank

I app**** for a share trading account on the 3rd of June 2021, they came back to me around the 17th of June saying my application was successful I did see the email, a week later I saw the email saying I need to pay some money when I go through thier email it's saying I owe R288 for opening an account there is no where they indicated to me that to just open an account is R288, if it cost that much its obvious there won't be any return on the investment I had to close the account, didn't trade on it didn't Transat at all ?
