So what if we messed up, the customer must wait!!!

I have a 32day notice account with them. On 29/06/2017, I went to the bank to request an emergency release of funds. Firstly, I waited almost 40 minutes before I was called to a counter. Once at the counter, the teller's system was exceptionally slow. I spend another 20min waiting there. By the time my request was processed about an hour and 30min after i got into the bank, I was told that it was too late now to request release for the EFT (after 13:00). The lady informed that it would be done the next morning and that the funds should be in my account within 48hrs. On 04/07/2017, I called and held on 29min before the call was answered the first time and was promised that the person who assisted me with my request has to call me back. this never happened. I called again later in the afternoon, held on again for a ridiculous time. I kept on speaking to some Geynor lady who will give the message, but when I threatened to come to the branch in person, I was assured a call back after 16:00 when the bank is empty. I got the call from Monarie (the person whom I was looking for). She apologized and informed that the Submission for the EFT was never done and that I should wait another 48hrs all over. I asked for expedition of release, but she came back to me and said that she knows that the error was theirs and she told the bank manager (Mr. Amandla Stofile), but he said "no", he is not going to arrange for early release of funds, I would just have to wait another 48hrs. This is the worst service I ever got. They (Mr Stofile) did not even try to make some kind of effort to accommodate for their slackness and the inconvenience I had to suffer even knowing that the reason for the request in the first place was because of an emergency. Nedbank definitely does not care about their customers. It's all about processes and profit. Acknowledging and correcting their errors is something that is probably something which is still in the pipeline of implementation. If all goes according to plan, perhaps in the next 10-15 years. Can't wait!
