So disappointed with Nedbank's ability to resolve a query!!!

I deposited R180.00 on 5th February 2020 at the Nedbank ATM in The Atrium, Overport and after completing the transaction, I got a slip stating that there was a system error and to wait for the balance to update after 2 business days. My balance at the time was R1826.00 and after depositing R180.00, my balance on the account should have been reduced to R1646.00. But instaed, after 2 business days, my balance had increased by R180 (so Nedbank added the R180 to my current balance instead of reducing it) bringing the new balance to R2006.00. I went to the branch and was told to call customer services, who logged an official query to the credit card department. They tolde to check my balance again after 4 days. After 4 days my balance had not been reduced, but instead another R36.00 added to it. This brought my balance to R2042.00. I called customer services only to be told that the credit card still hadn't looked at the query! The agent said she would put the query through again and I should check 2 days later. Two days later my balance was still at R2042 and now I was receiving sms's from Nedbank collections advising me that I was overdue on my account.

Frustrated , I called customer services again, and this time I was told to go into the branch and lay an incident report as it had already been a couple of weeks and still nothing had been done. Also that the branch needed to take responsibility for the system error that occurred on their ATM. When I went to the branch, however, they advised that there was already a query and could not lay the incident report. I was advised by the enquiries clerk that he would take care of it and inform me. One week later (26 February 2020), I did not hear from the branch clerk but I did receive an SMS from the card division that they had reduced my balance by R180 and that the query had been closed. I went back to the branch to find out why only R180 was deducted from my balance. What about the R180.00 and the R36.00 that was added to my balance?

I had to explain in simple terms to people that work for a bank, that I had a balance of R1826.00 and I deposited RR180.00, then I should be left with a balance of R1646.00. But because of the system error, the R180.00 was added to my balance instead of reducing it,increasing my balance to R2006.00 and the another R36.00 was added asfinance charges, bringing the balance to R2042.00.

So in order to get my balance back to R1646.00, Nedbank needs to deduct R180 + R180 + R36. But the branch keeps telling to phone the call center and the call center telling me to go to the branch...

I've had my Nedbank card for over ten years and I'm so appalled and disappointed at the way I've been treated! The card division denies that the R180 and R36 we're added to my balance, but can't explain how my balance then can increase without me using the card. He said he would get his team leader to 'explain it to me'... I'm still waiting for the call!!!
