Slow to respond to geyser burst - day 5, still waiting!

We are deeply disturbed and disgruntled by the level of unprofessionalism that we are receiving from the assigned plumbers to replace the geyser at our house. The geyser burst on Friday and the plumbers came to assess. They obtained approval to fix the geyser, however they indicated that they needed a scaffolding to replace the geyser through the roof. They informed us that they were going to request for approval for the scaffolding. The whole weekend went by with no communication and yesterday, we had to follow up as there was no communication whatsoever of what was prevailing regarding the authorisation of the scaffolding. No action was done yesterday and today we are being told that the scaffolding was approved but can only be available on Friday - seriously!! Are you telling me that in the whole of Johannesburg, there is no scaffolding that can be hired today and avoid all the pain and inconveniences we are experiencing?

Secondly, the plumbers indicated that they had put a bypass to block the leakage yet it has been leaking from Friday and as a result, our ceiling has been damaged and the outside wall where the wall is flowing is discolored. The other challenge is that with the leak, this will raise our water bill for the month, not mentioning the inconvenience of boiling water daily for five people in the house to bath. To rub salt into the wound, we informed the insurance about the damages and as usually known about most insurance companies, they look for stories. We need this to be fixed and our patience is running out.

We are not pleased with the lack of urgency that the plumbers and insurance have - we surely cannot wait for a whole week to fix the geyser. We can imagine that the insurance should have a database of efficient and reliable plumbers who can provide an excellent service but our experience is making us doubt your services. This is the first time in 5 years to make a claim and we are faced with this unprofessionalism, surely, we deserve a better service. A burst geyser should receive as much urgency as possible - the damage we are experiencing will cost more.
