Shockin rip-off

<p>SOme years ago i bought sterling travellers cheques with South African Rand on which Amex charged a commission. For a forthcoming trip to the UK, i asked to cash some of these cheques to have some sterling on arrival in the UK. Sure, they will do it for me BUT will convert the cheques to South African Rands and then back to sterrling!!! They have had my cash <em> the interve</em></p>
