Shame on you nedbank
So, we all know how this Covid19 affected everyone. We had no option but to apply for a homeloan relief for the 3 month period from Nedbank. We were given the option of 3 repayment options after the period ended, april, may and june was the relief period, the bond went off end of july as per normal, albeit whilst my wife was now officially retrenched. Bond went off on the 27th of july , on the same day i received an sms saying our bond is in arrears and an agent will contact us shortly, its the 28th now and no one contacted us. Today we received a very threatening sms stating we must urgently contact them within 20 days, or they will proceed with legal action and list us by the credit bureau .
I tried phoning the number, i do understand the call volumes would have increased and that they are working with less staff, after 15 min the call got dropped.
My issue here is the following, they offered the relief, we opted to make use of it, we were given 3 payback options, as soon as the period of relief was over our bond went off, two days in a row we received messages stating we are in arrears, one of which threatened legal action, listing at the bureau, telling us we would receive a call, us trying to phone .... July isnt even over and this is how Nedbank treats their customer.
Dont know if its just me, but i find it totally disgusting . shame on you Nedbank.....
A very friendly and efficient consultant contacted me wrt the matter and all, so far, is resolved.
Thank you Nedbank
