Send imali waste of time

I sent money via send Nedbank Send imali to my fiance' as I was in JHB for the week.

On the website it specifies that the person receiving the money can withdraw it simply, and all that is necessary is a cellphone number.
I transferred it via Internet banking expecting it to be as easy and convenient as the advertise.

We have spent over R25 in airtime trying to recieve the pin dialing *120*001# yet receive a technical error message.

On calling the call centre , he was told to turn his phone of and on and take the battery out, this didn't help. He then went to the branch and was told his cellphone needs to be registered(!!!!) Ain order to use the service.

They registered it at the branch with the bankers, and it still was not working. He was told there is nothing they can do.

Sorry but this is disgusting from nedbank. I am utterly disappointed that we have to pay the non refundable R9,50 plus extra on airtime. And at the end told there is nothing they can do.
Absolutely changing banks!
