Security Risk to my finances - 32 Days Account
Firstly I'd like to start by saying that the Nedbank is not friendly at all. If you would do a survey with regards to the use of it I am sure the feedback will not be good. I opened a 32 days account online and deposited cash in there. I later needed to make an early withdrawal only to find out that is impossible to do through the App but yet other banks have implemented this functionality as it saves us time as well running to banks in order to make such requests. What is the point of having an APP that doesn't make your banking simple. I went to the Eastgate branch for assistance only to find out that my 32 days account is linked to a club account my friends and I opened years ago and is no longer in use. My question is how can I open an account through my personal profile be linked to an account that does not belong to me. How did that happen. This to me is a security risk to my finances. A lady assisted me with the early withdrawal. This morning the amount I requested was in my bank account. The lady advised that I do withdrawal of the left over balance back to my main account and go straight to the bank and re-open the 32 days account. When I checked my balance on the 32 days account, the money available is R10K short. Now can someone please explain how this is possible.
