Scandalous Nedbank Money App

I wanted to check how much money I have in my account by checking on my Netbank account that it has been locked and when the same message appeared when I used the Nedbank money app that I was advised by a consultant on the app to delete the app and download it again. So I did that and had to come up with a new password for the app and now it won't accept my card number and pin . I hope that I am not being ****med . Why was my account locked without my informing me in the first place? I'm so disappointed Nedbank
