i have a hospital insurance with aig through nedbank that is supposed to pay me R1000 per day of hospital stay.<br> last year i was called by aig again saying they have an improved product for loyal customers. while taking the second insurance i did confirm that it will also pay R1000 per day in hospital and i included my spouse and son this time. the agent confirmed that if me,my spouse or son sleeps in hospital i will be paid R1000 per day.<br> a week ago my son had fever and he was booked in hospital as his tonsils were bad and he spent four days in hospital. when i called aig they claimed i have permanent disability plan so i cant claim but i remember confirming with the agent when i took the policy that i will be paid per day for illness/accident in hospital. since i lost my policy documents i called last week monday requesting policy schedules and recording of when i took the policy to prove i was ****med and i still havent received anything. i also called last week wednesday to follow up and they said they wrote wrong email so i must wait 48hours today is monday i called again still nothing.
