Savings Account Not Closed As Promised

I attempted to close my Nedbank Savings Account two weeks ago.

This meant that I had to go into the branch and complete all necessary documentation which I did at the Arcadia Branch.

The account has been removed from my online banking profile and I was assured that the account was closed. This week, I am receiving SMSs that my account is overdrawn and needs to be rectified.

All accounts visible on my side are in good order and the only logical conclusion is that the savings account remains open.

I cannot keep going back and forth to a branch to rectify this if someone could contact me as a matter of urgency to ensure that this is handled.
