11 Nov 2025, 16:40I’ve had resulting damage from a burst geyser. Risimu contractors were allocated to work on the problem. Today they came to fix the ceiling. Upon leaving they left the trap door open. By the time I saw the open trap door the contractors had left. I called Risimu and I was put through a lady who just was not listening nor hearing what I was saying. My request was that the trap door be temporarily closed from the inside with a temporary structure. This lady flat out refuses claiming that any closure will damage the rhinoliting. I explain again that the request is for the temporary closure to be on the inside of the ceiling/roof but not where the rhinoliting is. She still refuses. At some point she stops talking and doesn’t respond claiming that she doesn’t want to interject, which is a lie. I couldn’t even tell her that there were cornices inside the ceiling were I was telling her team should put the temporary closure meaning a temp structure could be placed there - she just was not willing to hear. This is absolutely ridiculous. Should it rain tonight Nedbank will apologize and inconvenience me for days in fixing whatever resulting damage from the resulting damage fixing! I have images of what I’m referring to and I’m happy to share them.
