Nedbank is one of the biggest *******s. My mom has been phoning in and trying to contact them for months with no answer,contacting all the email addresses provided. Eventually we found a number and when enquiring about adding a beneficiary to her HOC they said no, phoning in to a different number they said yes they are able to, the answer is constantly changing and when we last called they had basically said no again. They are not letting her claim to fix her house as she should maintain it even with her pension and the monthly bond payment takes most of her pension. I then told them so basically they're not allowing her to claim, and if we cancel and move with a different company, they admitted that they do not pay even a portion of the premiums that have been paid over the years and they basically keep all the money. Her home is covered for R1.5 million and they won't even let her claim atleast a R300 000 to fix her hom and ontop of that she's never ever claimed.
