Ridiculous

I keep on receiving SMS's and being harrassed with Nedbank trying to make contact with me about home loans payments that are in arrears. I DO NOT HAVE A HOME LOAN WITH NEDBANK. I have spent how many hours on the phone to get this sorted, but they cannot take this off their system due to the POPI act. It seems like a consultant accidentally entered the contact number of the real client incorrectly (maybe almost the same digits as mine). I now need to go in to a branch (ridiculous!!!) to get this fixed? How is this acceptable?
