My account was closed without proper notice, and now I’m being forced to answer accusatory questions while my merchant funds are frozen. Questions like: “How will you conduct the account?”, “Where will funds come from?”, “Why didn’t you respond to SMSs?” — instead of help, I get silence. My banker ignores calls and doesn’t assist, even when payments were released. I’m left stranded with no access to my money. This shows how little Nedbank values small businesses.
