Responsible Customer loses again!
On Wednesday 27 May 2015 I received an SMS from Nedbank Collections advising that our debit order would be deducted on 29 May 2015. I immediately contacted the collections department advising that i could not accept the debit order deduction on that day because my husband would only be paid on 30 May 2015. After a lot of back and forth where I was **** to, and forced to contact my husbands HR department for clarity, we eventually agreed that the debit order would go off on 30 May 2015. I received an SMS reading that the monies would be collected on 31 May 2015. I arranged with my husbands comapny to pay his salary in early so that it would reflect on 30 May 2015, keeping up my end as a responsible customer. And yet, come 29 May 2015, Nedbank decides to deduct the debit order ANYWAY! Why even bother trying to compromise with a bank, who ignores their customers and does what they want anyway? I am really displeased! Formal complaint also lodged with reference ***
