REQUEST FOR A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT

At the beginning of this month I called MFC wanting to know how does a payment arrangement work and what doe one have to do if they need one. I was advised that I should send my request in writing and attach certain documents which will be used to assess my request. I did that, attached all the documents and waited. On the 5th @ 10.29 a.m. I received a response from them asking me to send them the documents, the email was from a person by the name of Dipuo. Upon receipt of this I then called them and the gentleman who assisted me advised that the documents have been received already, he could not understand why I was asked to resend them. He then advised that he was referring my request to the responsible parties who will then get back to me. I heard nothing from them until I called again on Friday the 8th and the lady I spoke to said the same thing that she will send a reminder to the relevant dept. This morning I get a written decline email stating the reason being that whatever I needed the money for does not match with the payment that I wanted to skip. This tells me one thing: They did not read my email clearly. I did not say I wanted the funds to pay for my existing medical bills, I stated clearly that I need the funds for a co-payment I have to pay regarding the medical procedure that I have to do on the 26th. What frustrates me more is that I had to do the following: • Write a motivation letter (which I did) • Send a copy of my pay slip • Send my current bills which are outstanding. In my motivation I wrote all my personal medical issues, very very confidential information which under normal circumstances I wouldn’t even talk about, but because of being desperate I had to be honest and tell it like it is. I know and understand that in order for them to make a decision the info requested from me was vital, however why put somebody through such embarrassment then come back and decline, even so decline incorrectly by saying the bills I have send are not tying up with the amount requested? My (private and personal motivation) went through various hands but due to being desperate I ignored that and still wrote what I wrote which is the truth. I am not saying I will not pay the skipped instalment, I will either pay it off monthly or have my term extended, or pay double at the end of September when I get my bonus. That's all I am asking for.
