For six months I have requested Nedbank to let me know how much I wouls still owe them or they owe me after a home loan foreclosure sale in December 2016. First, for 3 months I was taken from pillar to post, then I was told they cant tell me until the property is transfered. Eventually, the property was transferred in early May (9th), and at this point I was told I have to wait until the funds from the foreclosure sale have been transferred into the bank's account. This too was eventually done on the 24th June 2016, at which point I was now told the bank was awaiting the statement of account from the sheriff. On the 28th June I was eventually told I have to wait for 30 days.

Can I please understand if Nedbank has a policy to mistreat its former clients? Why, after all this time can I not be given a simple indication of how much is due to me? Why would it take 30 days for the bank to refund a payment from a property sale?
