REFUSAL TO REVERSE DEBIT ORDERS ON INSTRUCTION

Yesterday 28 February 2017 MFC debited our account with 3 debit orders for vehicle instalments. We try since 9 January 2017 to contact MFC collections to assist us with issues but no luch the call centre refuse to give the contact details of the collections department.

I contacted Nedbank Pta North who reffered me to the call centre. Upon my request / instruction to reverse the 3 debit orders of MFC to avoid the unpaid debit order costs until we resolve our issues the call centre at Nedbank refused to reverse the debits orders informed us that only MFC can reverse the debit orders? Why? This is my account and my money why can I not reverse debit orders and why can the call centre not reverse debit orders on my instruction?

I now have 4 unpaid debit order charges of R150 each which amounts to R600 which is a huge amount of money to lose for an unemployed person. The 4th charge was because Vodacom again debited the wrong account but I rectify that immediately by making an instant payment into my account with a cost of R42 now I got charge with R150 unpaid item charge? Why?

Can you please, as a matter of urgency investigate this issues and please reverse the R600 in unpaid item costs on our account. My husband is unemployed and we cannot afford to pay the R600 as that R600 was supposed to be part of our monthly fuel expense. Without the R600 I am running short in fuel money for the month which may affect me negative because if I do not have money to drive to work I will loose my employment as well and I am the only breadwinner my husband only get UIF which is only effective for another two months then no income.

Please consider the reversal of this costs and confirm once done. We will really appreciate this issue. Please advise as well on why the call centre refuse to reverse a debit order on instruction of the bank account holder?

Await feedback.
