Refusal to hand over NaTis documents

Went to collect the NaTis documents from Nedbank. They refusing hand me the claimants because I don’t know the telephone number that’s registered on their system.

How can one wants to authenticate me by the telephone number whereas I’m there in person with the original identification documents.

Apparently the biometrics (scannning thumbs) on their system is not sufficient enough to authenticate me…
