recieved a sms from the company

I am very unhappy with the settlement amount given to me. I want to be debt free and get this account off my name- I have been paying them religiously for the pass few months. i recieve countless sms to settle with discounted rates to the amount and now that i want to settle i recieve a small discounted amount. I am able to pay them today and get this defualt off my name . They make it harder for a person then easier to get done with the debt- call center not helpful at all
