REAL ****PY SERVICE TO A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF OVER 20YRS

On 22/11 I called the call centre ( ********** 111) and after hanging on forever I eventually got though to switchboard who put me through to a Victor Mokgabudi. He advised that I was put through to the wrong person and passed me on to a Siphiso. I explained that I want to register a claim on my property in CT whilst I am in Pretoria. The storm damage occured over 2 mths ago whilst the burglary and damage to my garage doors was more recent. I explained that the reason for the delay was due the fact that the tenant report the matter to me after 2 mths. They explained that they understood and requested detail (case nr's etc) for which I referred them to the tenant. He confirmed that the claim will be honoured and even provided the amounts that I would have to pay i.r.o. excess. The tenant then informed me that Nedbank came back and advised that they will only honour the claim for the damage to the garage doors i.r.o. the burglary. On 13/12 I called again to enquire why the change of mind after I informed them of the reason for the extended delay. Again I got through to the swithcboard after waiting for 10 minutes after which I was put through to the bswitchboard who directed me to Michelle whom I was made to believe deals with claims. Michelle then got me to repeat the whole story and advised she will get the person who deals with the claim to call me back. This was at 13h47 on 13/12 - meanwhile one week later and no-one has had the decency of calling me back! By the way, the tenant told me that the lady who informed him about the refuted claim was "a very rude Indian lady with an attitude". If this is the treatment Nedbank dishes out to loyal customers who has not missed a premium in more than 20 years then I am at loss of words..... Certainly moving my bond and insurance to a more customer friendly insititution!!!

So I get a call from a customer care consultant Claudine around 16h00 yesterday 19/12 apologising for the poor service and reiterating Nedbank's pledge to good customer experience. She promisued the manager of the person dealing with the claim would contact me. Meanwhile a day later, no one has contacted me... More reason to move my homeloan, current account, credit cards and investment to some who cares about their customers!
