Racial profiling

I went to Nedbank branch in welkom in the free state on Saturday 28/02/26 to do my business. I was directed to where I must stand. I waited about 20 to 25min as the line moved very slow..which I didn't mind as I understood that tellers deal with money and that cannot be rushed.

As it was about to be my time to be called, a white man came and told us "me and the only person behind me" that we are standing on the wrong spot. I said no we are ok, although we moved slightly to were he showed us. After that he kept saying how is it possible that we don't know where to stand and if that was our first time to the bank.

I totally lost it and started shouting as I felt disrespected by a stranger.. what annoyed me the most is that during that quarrel non of the staff members said anything. I then asked for the manager. A white lady came and the first thing she said was to apologize to the white man and after that I asked if all the staff did not see that we were standing on the wrong side and she just left me there. So is this how Nedbank treat clients..based on colour?
