R90.00 Dishonour Fees

I run a small contractIng busIness where cash flow is a huge problem. Jobs are done or quoted on and i then waIt for the monIes to be paId Into my bank account after completion. In many cases the money Is In the bankIng system waItIng to be cleared however one has to continue working i.e. having to purchase materials, petrol, wages etc my bank account goes Into overdraft. For every transaction, after my account has gone into overdraft, the bank debit my account wIth a R90.00 dIshonour fee. For a one man busIness that Is struggling to maintain Itself I just cannot accept that this is an acceptable practice of the bank. They claIm that they are there to assist small busIness however what i am experiencing is actually the total opposite, they go out of their way to destroy small business.

I have tried raising this issue with a branch \small business manager"who says there Is nothIng they can do unless I take out an overdraft facility whIch I don't want. All these decisions are made by a back office credit centre. I want to know if this is an acceptable or legal practice for the bank to pass a R90.00 debit for each transaction processed after account goes into overdraft."""
