PSA - go to ANY other bank, avoid Nedbank at all costs!!

My mother was sick with cancer, my wife had lost her job and I was carrying all household expenses alone. We were struggling to keep the lights on, and keep up with bond repayments. I reached out to Nedbank to ask for a payment holiday for a month (1 month) on my car repayments. I haven't missed a single payment. They said they can't help me, the reason: "we don't offer payment holidays for that." They also then continued to say that if I don't pay for my car they will take legal action.

I am in a much better situation, but still get calls from the Nedbank marketing team about car insurance etc. Honestly, if you can, get financed by another bank. This bank is terrible, and they don't care about anyone other than themselves.
