Property transfer

Good Day,

On the 2nd of November 2017, we submitted a letter to cancel the bond and the property to be transferred to our names as the bond has been settled. On the 7th of November 2017, I called Nedbank homeloan to ask if thy did receive the letter as there was acknowledgment of receipt from their side. I was told that the letter was received, however there were issues with the letter of which the consulted fixed them. Another issue was that the people from back office couldn't get the bond/account number (which was on the letter submitted). Apparently an email was sent to my old work email although I have updated my email address with the new one. The letter was then queued for the cancellation. On the 22nd of November 2017, I called again to ask the status of the cancellation and when will I get details of the lawyers who will do the transfer as there is money that needs to be paid, I was told that my matter is being attended to and that there won't be any service fees charged to the bond and we have submitted a cancellation letter. Today I called Nedbank and was told that my application is being attended by the back office and was not told when will this matter will be finalized. It is frustrating as I have to constantly call Nedbank to ask how far is my application. Apparently it can take up to 3 months for the property to be transferred although my husband was told that it will take about 2 weeks. If Nedbank told me this before hand I would have not bothered to call them. The lack of communication with the client is quite concerning, as most of the time I'm in the dark unless I call them.
