I am extremely concerned and disappointed about a situation involving a Nedbank proof of payment.

I received what appeared to be a legitimate Nedbank proof of payment for R18,000.00. However, the funds have never reflected in my account. After sending the proof of payment, the individual stopped answering my calls and messages, which raises serious concerns that the document may have been used to mislead me.

What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I have already sent an email to Nedbank reporting the matter and asking for assistance, but I have not received any response.

This raises an important question: how is it possible for someone to generate or send a Nedbank payment notification when the funds were never actually transferred? Situations like this can easily be used to **** people into releasing goods or services.

I would appreciate urgent clarification from Nedbank on how this can happen and what measures are in place to protect customers from this type of *****.

I hope Nedbank will take this matter seriously and respond as soon as possible.
