Promises not kept on late Father’s Estate

<p>I am really struggling to put my anger into words for the last year we have been trying to resolve my late father’s estate and it has been an uphill battel to put it lightly. The action that has finally driven me to write this was a broken promise made by Noriah Monangwe Estate Officer at Nedgroup Trust Limited.</p> <p>From the start of this year I started following up on a weekly bases on the progress of the Estate and what was still outstanding. Noriah told me that their is only two process that still needs to be resolved my father’s tax and the registration of his vehicles on my mother’s name. I was told that the tax issues was a very slow process and that she could not give me an ETA on that matter. The vehicle registration on the other hand needed the following action to be completed.</p> <p>1st Get the correct documents that need to be completed and then the signature of the executor of the estate.</p> <p>After following up again I was told that the correct documents where found and the only thing outstanding was the signature.</p> <p>When I followed up again I was told that the person that needed to sign was off sick and got back that day and that they will sign and the documents will be send to us.</p> <p>After another week I followed up again and was told that the person was on training and will be back the next day and they will then sign the documents</p> <p>It was at this point that I was asked for a delivery address to send the signed documents to this was on the 1 March 2017.</p> <p>I then followed up again and was told that the documents was going to be send to us and she assured me that it will be delivered before Friday the 17 March 2017.</p> <p>I followed up again on the 14 March 2017 and was told that this will still happen I told Noriah that I was taking leave to be able to assist my Mother with the registration process.</p> <p>When I followed up today 16 March 2017 I was told that the documents where only being dispatched today and that they will not reached me before the end of the day.</p> <p>When I told Noriah that this was good enough and that I have made plans based on the information she gave me she told me there was nothing she could do. And that I should cancel my leave and take leave on Monday. Sorry but it is not that easy to do. When I then asked her for the customer care department number I was told that they do not have one. </p>
