PRESCRIBED DEBT

Machabe Michael Salemane, *** 083. ID no.: I would like to raise my dissatisfaction with Nedbank Limited about a prescribed debt under Section 10(1) of the prescription Act 68 of 1969. On the 10 April 2025 I sent an email to Nedbank requesting the bank to remove my name from the relevant credit bureaus because the debt that they listed me for has long prescribed. I received a reply from Nedbank's Isaac Rapuleng to send a document that he requested and as per his email dated 15 April 2025. On the 30th April as well 30th May 2025 I sent follow up emails which were never responded to. I hereby request Nedbank to take me seriously as a consumer and remove this prescribed debt from my credit report, provide written confirmation of the removal and respond within 20 business days as per regulation 20(2) of the NCA.
