Prejudiced by Nedbank's greed & incompetence
Nedbank approved my HL application for R430 000 but gave me R387 000 (90% loan) at 10.500% on 3 Oct 2014.

After negotiating with the seller on how I would pay the R43 000 difference he then lowered the selling price to R400 000 meaning I needed to top up with R13 000 difference in cash.

I was then told I needed to sign another OTP for R400 000 which I did on the 07 Nov 2014 and I sent it.

Feb 2015 I then sign all the papers with the lawyers and pay the transfer and registering costs and the R13 000 difference. All I was now waiting for was an sms/email to say the bond is registered

Earlier this week (3 months after I signed the new OTP for R400 000) I then receive an sms similar to the one I received in Oct 2014 from Nedbank: your HL application has been approved. But this time it says for R360 000. I thought maybe it wasnt meant for me

Then I receive an email with a quote, saying i have been approved for R360 000 with an interest rate suddenly shooting up to 11.200%

1. How has the interest rate changed?
2. Why did it take so long for this new quote?
3. What happens to monies I already paid to lawyers?
4. Where do I get a further R27 000 to top up?
