Power of attorney means nothing

<p>My mother who is 82 years old has given me full Power of attorney in order for me to take care of her financial needs. I do this via Internet banking. The system locked me out for whatever reason so I called the call center unlock the account. They refused and insisted to speak to my mother.</p> <p>I was told to go into a branch to get this resolved , which i did but i can't get it reset without her with me.<br />Meaning what does it mean by having full power of attorney on her accounts if I need to get her permission in order to do the most mundane task like resetting a locked account. Nedbank your security needs revision. Sorry to say i will be closing her accounts soon, which i can do with there "power of attormey".</p>
