Poor Service to a Client of 41 years
I have been a client with Nedbank for 41 years.
In 1992/93 I took out a mortgage bond with Nedbank, and had to cede a life policy to Nedbank in order to secure the bond. I settled that bond in the late 90's, and subsequently sold the property in 2000. Nedbank have never lifted the cession on that life policy, which means I have to retain the policy, which I now no longer require. That policy is costing me R7 900 per month.
Nedbank say they can find no record of this cession, and are refusing to provide me with a letter stating they have no interest in the policy, even though I do not owe any money to Nedbank, on this bond or any subsequent bond.
My personal banker never gives me feedback unless I specifically request it, and I am getting no closer to resolving the matter.
