Poor quality of service.

In 2021 I requested cancellation of my bond as it was paid up. They subsequently appointed conveyancers to attend to this and I eventually received my title deed. When the property was sold in 2023, the deeds office discovered that one of the bonds had not been cancelled because Nedbank failed to provide the conveyancers with the mortgage bond documents. Effectively, registration in the name of the new owner could not take place because of this outstanding matter. Nedbank then appointed another firm of attorneys to attend to this but still could not provide the mortgage bond as apparently it had been lost. This has now resulted in additional costs to myself despite Nedbank's promises that this is merely a correction and not a cancellation. This oversight or rather negligence has caused a huge amount of anxiety for both the prospective owner and myself and I feel that Nedbank is solely to blame for this fiasco and should foot the bill for the additional expenses.

Reviewer Update
I am not surprised that the business has not responded. It is evident from reviews that have been published that they do not take complaints seriously. Whoever is the guilty party to all these complaints can comfortably hide behind the corporate veil and remain faceless.
