A few weeks ago we opened a “Non Resident and Embassy Banking” account. Ever since we have been trying to register so that we can access it on-line. We never have received an “Approve-it” message and there is always a default to a one time pin which is never received. It appears that your organization is unable to rectify the fault. We have asked the personal banker Modupi Motaung to sort this out on a daily basis. We have had confirmation from him that a deposit has been received from the UK and from South Africa. Transfer of the UK deposit to us has been agreed but it has not arrived I our account.
We have confirmed that we are able to receive SMS’s from South Africa and have previously received from Nedbank an “OTPSMS” giving us our profile number on Monday 20th and again on Friday 24th September. Why we no longer receive them from yourselves to prevent registration of our account has, apparently, been sent to your IT department for resolution but without any success. We are at a loss as to what to do next to get to our money. We ask that an escalated complaint be recorded and that correction of Nedbank’s problem be given priority.
