Poor poor customer service
To whom it may concern.
I do understand the change we all facing at this moment as many things are new to us.
I would just like to raise a few concerns:
Monday I took my mother to the bank as she wanted to transfers funds from her nedbank account to another investment account held at a different bank.
The person who assisted us at Nedbank N1 city was clueless, she did not even know that the OTP pin would pop up on my mother cell, we then left Nedbank and they we able to assist us at the other bank (The person words at the other bank was, if only they wanted to help they could of) to transfer from my mother Nedbank app, I asked for the branch manager or a senior person and I was told they work different shifts.
I also wanted to speak to a financial advisor wrt an education plan and was advised there is no advisor at the branch, went to Vangate mall the Tuesday also no financial advisor.
Called the call center today as our usual Nedbank Branch is the one in Cavandish Claremont an was advised there was a financial advisors there today, waited 23mins in the queue then I was advised there is not one, I got an card to email or contact the advisor, problem is that's a broker an his pushing me to invest in another portfolio as the commission for him is better elsewhere.
There is a massive communication gap between the call centre an the branches as they not sing the same tune, not one call centre agent can advise if a said individual who we normal see at Cavandish is at work or when she will be returning, we were put through to the actual store, but they could not assist as well.
Nedbank appeals to a certain market type but the services we received lately does not speak to that l, if this was a smaller bank it would totally be understood or even acceptable.
I am not looking for special services or preference, just clear communication an if you unsure of a process say so, if you training let me know then we won't have an expectation.
Kind regards Wesley *** To whom it may concern.
