POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Nedbank #seemoneydifferently ? I wish you would see your CUSTOMERS differently!
Without any communication, my card & online banking was restricted over the weekend.
No attempts to resolve this online or via your customer line were successful.
I was in the queue at my nearest branch before the doors opened this morning: - Customers asked twice for doors to be opened - after opening time - Customer next to me says he has an appointment. Staff member walks to nearest teller and loudly says: Does he have an appointment or is he lying? - Customers sit around inside while staff make coffee & chat to each other - At first, teller can't tell me why my account was restricted - I am not asked for ID, proof of address or any other info - just my card - A colleague assisits & confirms it was Fica - Original teller tells me she's sending an email - could take UP TO 48 HOURS TO RESOLVE - I should go home - I confirm I won't leave until resolved. I have been without access to my funds since Saturday and I have two children! - Tone of staff changes significantly! Voices are raised! I'm told to sit down! - Teller calls me 10 minutes later to check my ID and ask for my cellphone number - Returns to tell me an SMS was sent to me at some point informing me of Fica - apparently I'm at fault for not coming in at that point - I don't have this SMS on my phone!
An hour later, I'm still standing here. No resolution!!!
I can't draw money!
I can't do online banking!
I can't close my account!
Teller is waiting for an email.
No number she can phone.
Bank manager is in a meeting - nobody knows for how long - and I can clearly see someone sitting at the manager's desk
Teller insists that I am at fault & should just wait or go home.
When I speak, she raises her voice and speaks over me!
