poor banking services at Nedbank
On visiting Nedbank Sea Point. You now take a ticket and wait. and wait as staff move around holding a pen or paper and disappear into glassed booths with no one inside but themselves. Your number is eventually called then endless identification required for authenticity by the consultant. To be told they cannot print a statement of the family trust, you must go to a personal banker. A long process of tapping endless data that you cant see, is processed by the consultant. She hands you a s**** of paper with a number and name, saying call this person or contact by email. I call the person. Its a call centre with please hold and I will connect you to a consultant as soon as available. The call centre person cant help as she says they are just a call centre and cant print statements. You have to go to your nearest branch. I do that again and get the same story. You cant ever get to the manager she is at a meeting or you have to make an appoint. What happened to the good old teller and enquire dest with real people with knowledge of how a bank works. I am now looking for a new bank that might be a tad better. They tell me Capitec lead the pack. Nedbank certainly are slipping far behind what a banking service should give and not endless referral to another Deparment.
