Placed in a worse off position than I previously was.

Good day

I have just received a SMS requesting for my payslip and bank statements after me finding out myself that you guys have declined my request stating that Im still receiving my full salary, personal loans have actually placed me in a worse off position than I was initially instead of assisting me during the covid relief process which by the way was offered to me and I didn’t request but never benefited at all from it. No communication at all was done on my case telling me my request got declined or any person called me to make an arrangement of any sort , I had to do it myself by logging a complaint ***6.

I am now expected to pay back the arrears amount by a forced arrangement which also by the way affected my credit rating at Experian , I’ve attached a copy of a declined application for a rental property that was turned down due to personal loans placing me in a worse off position by offering me this payment holiday.

I’ve attached all the documents again to this email.

I understand that you require a letter for my income from my work to justify the claim which I have explained that I am still receiving in full, the claim I’m submitting is for my additional income for a property in Durban that I am no longer receiving and will only start receiving now this month hence I took up the offer thinking it would be feasible for me to get back on my feet. At the same token in terms of NCA I would never have qualified and would have been over exposed if I did not submit documents of my additional income so how did personal loans grant me the loan cause this was a requirement for me getting the loan initially but now you guys are saying you cannot assist me ( after you offering me the payment holiday ) .

I am now told that personal loans have sent the update and usually takes 30 days for the bureau to update, this has been the biggest regret taking up assistance from Nedbank during COVID cause it has actually turned out to be a complete nightmare. I am not happy with the outcome that was provided to me and I have intentions of taking this case to the banking ombudsman as Nedbank personal loans has literally messed up the last 3 months of my life instead of being there for a client that has been loyal for over 15 years and having my entire banking portfolio with Nedbank from property, cars, credit card and my primary account.
