Personal Loan - Balance still High after paying every month, something is not right!!!!!!!!

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>I called the call centre (10/02/2017)to find out whats the balance on my loan , the agent said it was R23000 and something, i asked him to email my statement from the first month i started paying for my loan, i recieve a statement from the 01/10/2016. i took this loan out in December 2015, why is my loan still @ R23000, what happen to my instalments that i was paying from January 2016. I want my statement from the date i started paying for this loan. I have never recieved a statement from you. I am sure my balance should be much less.</p>
